We are Mage
The AI diligence platform built for the M&A attorneys who have to read every page.
Why Mage exists
Buy-side and sell-side counsel still spend most of a deal cycle inside a data room looking for the same fifty things: change-of-control triggers, indemnity caps, non-assignment clauses, working-capital adjustments, MAC outs. The associates burn the hours, the partners absorb the risk, and the client pays for both.
Generic AI is not the answer. The hard problems in legal diligence are domain-shaped: amendment chains, multi-document reasoning, privilege awareness, jurisdiction-specific enforceability. Mage is built for those problems specifically, by people who have lived them.
What we do
Mage connects to your data room, scans every document against a configurable risk checklist, identifies coverage gaps, and produces firm-branded memos and disclosure schedules in hours instead of weeks. We support buy-side, sell-side, and financing workstreams across 80+ languages, and we do it without retaining your client data.
Who builds it
Mage is led by Raffi Isanians (formerly an M&A attorney at Kirkland & Ellis LLP) and Raymond Xu (formerly a Document AI engineer at Google Cloud). The thesis is simple: the lawyer designs the workflow, the engineer builds the system, and the result respects how M&A actually gets done.
